Someday I’ll Love The Ocean

Stand on the shoreline, please just watch the waves.

But be careful, they occasionally raves.

These people still do want to dive under the surface? Brave.

Merely don’t expect any treasures you crave.

To dive into the depths, swim through the currents of vulnerability, let go of fear and embrace the unknown.

The ocean is too much, with emotions that soar, a torrential storm, a tempest’s roar.

The depths are profound, its heart runs deep. The ocean yearns for a love as deep as it is.

A connection so divine, matches its intensity.

A bond that’s timeless, full of tenderness.

Yet everything is too little, too small in scale!

Compared to the ocean’s might, its endless tale. Unable to navigate the trail of the wild and untamed ocean.

My waves may crash upon the shore,

But my depths hold treasures galore.

I’m still trying to love the ocean as it is.

And I know someday I’ll love her.

You’re a pond and I’m an ocean
