Death falls in love with Life, he fell hard. His cold heart thawed by her vibrant way. He watched as she danced and bloomed. He had always been the one feared. But in her presence, he felt revered. She lived each day with such delight, while he only lurked in shadows shrouded in night.
He longed to hold her in his arms, to feel her warmth. Death bided his time watching Life’s journey. Life always knew Death loved her, but he’s too scared! He’s too afraid to even look Life in her eyes, seeing the reflection on how Life sees the scary dark world that Death was in.
Life’s lived a full life, with no regrets. Taking risks and chasing every sunset. She’s loved and lost, and loved again. And she knows when Death finally man up and takes her away, it won’t be the end.
